About Project

The Rayonier boardroom is modern and light-filled. A high stud six metre ceiling and three sides of floor-to-ceiling glass make the most of the view. Nomadtika were contacted by the design company Stack Interiors to acoustically treat the boardroom. The project provided significant challenges as any options to direct-fix acoustic mediums to the wall and ceilings were limited by the proliferation of glass. The brief was to solve the acoustic issues using a colour pallet to complement the organic design of the space.

The Solution

A finned Autex QuietSpace design was proposed by Johnno from Autex to increase the surface area of the acoustic medium and Nomadtika devised an installed methodology to suit. A bespoke finish for a remarkable space.

Project Complimentary

Prior to the acoustic addition, it was very hard to hear: voices got jumbled and there was a lot of echo. The acoustic treatment really worked and transformed the space into a functional room. We were very happy.
