Nomadtika was established in 2005, born out of an industry need for high-end finishing skills in the installation of acoustic-rated wall coverings.
Since this time we have grown beyond a two-man-band, into a dedicated team covering acoustic appraisals, product recommendations, quantity surveying, construction tenders, colour/design consultation and of course, expert installation.
We offer a superior service through our uncompromising commitment to quality finishing, stringent quality assurance processes and attention to detail. We take pride in giving our clients the peace of mind that comes with completing their projects without hiccups and within their timeframe and budget. In order to maintain such high standards, a positive culture is paramount in such a boutique business. All team members participate in regular company toolboxes where the tagline is “We are constantly striving to be more efficient and provide a greater level of service.” We are continually working on process and systems to ensure we remain on top of our game.
The business prides itself on a “family first” motto. The families who rely on Nomadtika are also its backbone and know that if the chips are down their other team members will be right there to help out. Our staff take immense pride in working with Nomadtika and the family culture helps ensure we have very little staff turnover.

Mitchell Atkins
Director of Operations
Introducing our Director of Operations at Nomadtika.
Mitch’s journey with Nomadtika began in 2015 when he joined us part-time during university. Since then, he has made tremendous strides in professional development while pursuing his studies in Quantity Surveying.
Throughout his time at Nomadtika, Mitchell has consistently shown a passion for excellence and an uncompromising commitment to his work. As our new Director of Operations, Mitchell brings a fresh perspective and ambitious goals to the table. He aims to provide greater structure and pricing systems and a focus on company culture, enhancing our efficiency and competitiveness in the industry.
Michael Dunn
Managing Director
Michael has a long relationship with Nomadtika, having started part-time work while studying Commerce at University in 2008. The culture appealed to him, as did the multifarious nature of the role.
In 2014, he came on board full-time to assist in internal business development, growth and sales. His keen eye for detail and continual quest for improvement in all facets of the business have seen him move up to his current role of Managing Director. He is a driver of systems improvement and champions the Nomadtika values of quality and service.
With a focus on the technical side of acoustics, he has continued to evolve Nomadtika to keep up with the industry’s innovations, ensuring Nomadtika remains the go-to for acoustic installations.

Damon founded Nomadtika in 2005 when he saw an industry need for high-end finishing skills in installing acoustic-rated wall coverings.
He brings over 25 years of invaluable experience and expertise in the construction industry, focused on decorative and acoustic specification and installation. With an unwavering commitment to high-end finishing, Damon has been instrumental in the growth and success of Nomadtika.
Damon’s strategic insights and industry knowledge have shaped Nomadtika into a leading provider of decorative and acoustic installations. His passion for creating visually striking and acoustically optimised spaces has made a lasting impact on the industry as a whole.
Having recently entrusted the stewardship of Nomadtika to Mike (Managing Director) and Mitch (Director of Operations), Damon ensures the continuity of our exceptional service and commitment to our clients.
