About Project

Telco designed a new Head Office for BUPA on Carlton Gore Road in Newmarket.  Designer Kelly Cameron specified the brand new Etch product from Autex and they, in turn, enlisted the aid of their largest and longest standing preferred supplier Nomadtika.

The brief was simple: Ensure the template specification was a success by providing finishing details as well as a top quality install for Main Contractor Alaska.

The challenge: Etch is a lasered fabric requiring hand cutting and pattern matching skills only the best installers possess. Nomadtika needed to detail the junctions between fabric and aluminium and create an install methodology for the brand new product.

The result

Nomadtika’s years of install experience combined with continual research and development has resulted in the designers vision coming to life. The install methodology was a complete success and the spaces are vibrant, colourful and personalised through the usage of Etch. This project has changed the way we think about fabric overlaid acoustic mediums and laid down a marker for all future acoustic specifications.

Project Complimentary

When we have an exciting new product like ETCH specified in a high-profile job (such as BUPA) we rely on our top installers to step up. Nomadtika did exactly that. Their overall understanding of the job coupled with their planning, attention to detail and supreme craftsmanship all combined to achieve an amazing result. The speed with which they have mastered our brand new ETCH product illustrates their passion for quality finishing and gives us (and designers) confidence to continue exploring the possibilities.
